HARA TAICHER - Founder

HARA

Founder

  • I’m an author, speaker, strategic thought leader, and a proud mother of Zack, my best work ever!

  • I’ve always gravitated towards assisting others and have continued in that vein throughout my life. As a visionary and a connector, I love to bring people together for common goals.

  • Being introduced to the world of child trafficking was far more than I thought I could handle, but I knew my heart was leading me to get more deeply involved. And, in whatever way possible to advocate for change & hopefully contribute to a solution.

  • We founded Awake & Bold in 2020 to educate people about this horrific industry. Our first goal is to spread awareness about life-saving hand signals through billboards and other marketing tools

  • We know these signals have saved lives.

Bonnie

BONNIE

Ambassador/Speaker

  • After selling a successful accounting practice, Bonnie is devoting her time to humanitarian work to improve quality of life overall and end child and human trafficking.

  • In 2021, Bonnie moved cross country and was immediately taken in by Awake and Bold as an ambassador, working as part of a team to educate communities and be a part of the solution to end trafficking locally and worldwide.

  • Bonnie also works as a medium, crystal master, and spiritual guide helping clients to receive profound messages from loved ones who have past.

Karise

KARISE

Ambassador/Speaker

  • Karise began a lifetime of community involvement as a Red Cross candy striper volunteer for the elderly. She attended city council meetings and at 18, was chosen city manager for a day in her hometown.

  • An independent thinker from an early age, she researched and chose the responsibility to home birth and homeschool her children who were never vaccinated.

  • Conception of PlanetWiseWomen in 2009 led her to develop a number of healing retreats to support women’s spiritual, financial, and health education independence.

  • Karise has fought for social justice in numerous settings throughout her careers in education, business, finance and medical industries. For decades she has stepped forward to champion many causes. She knows what it’s like to get tear-gassed saying no to the Vietnam war, and walk many the picket lines most recently in North Carolina against mandated vaccines.

  • Now, more than ever, a line has been drawn in the sand, “We are at war! The children of the world are God-sovereign to be protected against any slavery and trafficking! Thus far and no farther!”

Kathy

KATHY

Proud Ambassador

  • Hi, my name is Kathy. A dream I shared with my mom at an early age was that I wanted to have a horse ranch in Hawaii and have 12 kids. Well, my dream didn’t actualize exactly how I saw it in my head back in the ’50’s, however all the parts of it have happened in my life.

  • When my 3 kids were young, we were small dairy farmers in Wisconsin. We home birthed, we home schooled, we were involved in community children’s theater and for many years we welcomed black kids from Mississippi and more fortunate kids from Mexico and Central America into our modest farm homestead lifestyle. My life in northern NM included being part of an art cooperative teaching kids about the art of playing with clay. So my dream of 12 kids was easily fulfilled.

  • During that time I had no idea about child trafficking….in fact not until within the past couple of years. We just wanted our kids to become familiar with kids from all kinds of backgrounds. I believe that is vital to the health of “our” kids/all kids. The health and wellbeing of kids has been important to me.

  • I have been a lifelong organic, regenerative, biodynamic farmer….from dairy farming to farmers market vegetable growing to farm to table growing to hemp cultivation for CBD. For me, food is medicine and along with that having our hands and bare feet on the ground is very important to the health and wellbeing of us all.

  • With this in mind, what’s the vision for myself with Awake and Bold? Many things, however, and primarily, helping kids once they are rescued to come back to balance by bringing them into the garden…..guiding them back to nurturing, nourishing and loving themselves on many levels through nurturing and caring for all life in the garden.
